This first single from Amélie Fortin's instrumental project reveals magnificently fluid piano music, evoking the movement of a current that carries us along with it. It is also an ode to the passing of time, to the beauty revealed in the simplicity of a perpetual gesture.

AQUALUDES
For her first EP of original compositions, pianist Amélie Fortin offers us a suite of four pieces for solo piano inspired by the movement of the water. We can certainly detect influences from jazz and classical music, with which she plays with a certain freedom and without constraints. We navigate both calm, impassive waters and tumultuous currents, always with intelligence, sensitivity and originality.
